The Diva's challenge this week is to use purple. It could be purple background, purple ink, etc.
I decided to experiment with some Adirondack color wash ink. I sprayed it on my watercolor tile, then spread it with a paper towel. Afterwards, adding my tangle patterns.
On this tile, I used Stampa Rosa's Silk Iridescent Ink and painted a purple heart, then added my tangle patterns.
This tile was spritzed with the Adirondack color wash, then I added the tangle patterns.
Last evening, Bob and I decided to work a puzzle - we hadn't done so in years. After we started, Tommy wanted to be a part of our activities. His actions certainly reflect yesterday's quote: "If a cat spoke, it would say things like Hey, I don't see the problem here. "

All wonderful tiles with very different uses of purple. Thanks for sharing your techniques also. That's very helpful for those of us new to using color in zentangles.
Love the cat, too. Mine loves to sit right in front of my computer screen and simply can't understand why I want her to move.
Very nice tiles. I think the spritzed is my favorite, and has given me some ideas! LOVE Tommy, who reminds me of my own Guero. He will hop on Mom's lap and reach for his brush, encouraging her to brush him many times a day.
I like all three tiles but I think the first one is my favorite. There is something very mysterious about that much purple. Beautiful job! ---And the cat is hilarious.
Great tiles all would be hard to pick a favorite - lovely cat too
